Following Footsteps Winter Hike

Sign up by Thu Jan 16 at https://bit.ly/Pack781WinterHike to join the pack at Oakwoods Metropark for a short winter hike! First, learn to identify specific animal tracks with some practice indoors using a handmade field guide and “tracks” found on the floor of the nature center. After, let’s put our detective skills to the test. We’ll head outside to see if we can apply any of our newly acquired information. This 90min activity is split evenly between indoor learning and a brief 45min hike on a level gravel trail near the nature center. Be sure to dress for the winter weather! The pack will cover the cost for scouts and a caring adult.
